Masala Peanut Chaat

Ingredients

Dry roasted peanuts
unsalted

Red onion
chopped finely

cilantro

chaat masala

cumin powder

serrano chili

tsp
red chili powder
(optional)
salt
to taste
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, add the peanuts.
Add in chopped chili and red onion. Remove the seeds from the chili if you prefer less spice.
Start by juicing half a lime. You may need to taste and adjust the lime later.
Add chaat masala, cumin powder and red chili powder. Add 1 tsp salt if peanuts are unsalted.
Adjust salt and lime to taste. I added the juice of 1 full lime to my chaat.
Add cilantro and mix well.
Serve immediately.
Notes
If you prefer, you may roast your own peanuts in a pan on a medium flame until lightly brown and toasted.
