Everyone loves a good hummus! I’ve said this before, but hummus is really a vegetarian’s best friend! I love making home-made hummus and love to try and switch it up from time to time with different flavors. I like to spread mine on toast or pita, enjoy it with veggies or chips/crackers or even top it on salad to make them extra filling and flavorful.
Here are 5 of my favorite hummus recipes. Let me know if you try them out!
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus is smoky, sweet and so delicious! I used fresh roasted red peppers, but you can use jarred ones too and it tastes just as delicious. The full recipe comes together quickly and is perfect for dipping veggies or pita into or for easy entertaining!
Beet Root Hummus
This one officially became my favorite hummus! It has got this delicious sweetness from the beets and it is garlicky and creamy. The extra step of adding the beets is so worth it!
Classic Mediterranean Hummus
You can’t go wrong with this one! It’s creamy, garlicky and just perfect. I make it pretty much every week to add to wraps, salads or to have on hand as a snack!
Green Chutney Hummus
This cilantro jalapeño hummus is absolutely perfect for those craving a little more spice. It tastes so much like Indian green chutney that I spread it in Indian-style Bombay sandwiches or on toast with a little extra protein from the chickpeas. It combines the best of both worlds!
Sundried Tomato Hummus
This photo was taken in the early days of my blog, before I had any editing experience, but the recipe is excellent! If you love sundried tomatoes, you’ll love this hummus, with its unique, tomatoey, umami flavor! I don’t make this very often, but I usually do when I’m entertaining and it’s a crowd pleaser for sure!
